2. Definitions

• "User" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the TeemUp Platform, including Creators, Brands, and Agencies.
• "Creator" refers to a content creator who registers on TeemUp to showcase portfolio metrics and discover brand partnership opportunities.
• "Brand / Agency" refers to a company, brand representative, or talent agency seeking collaborations with Creators.
• "Personal Data" means any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data under applicable Indian data protection laws.
• "YouTube API Data" refers to data obtained from YouTube API Services authorized by a Creator connecting their Google/YouTube account.

3. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by TeemUp through our website, application, waitlist, and directly integrated platform services. It does not apply to third-party services, external websites, or platforms that TeemUp may link to (such as YouTube, Instagram, or external brand sites), which operate under their own independent privacy policies.

4. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide and operate the TeemUp Platform:

A. Account & Registration Information (Google Sign-In)

When you register or sign in to TeemUp using Google authentication, we receive and store basic profile information authorized through Google OAuth:

• Full Name
• Email address
• Profile picture URL
• Unique Google Account identifier
• Account creation and last login timestamps

B. Creator Profile & YouTube API Data

When a Creator chooses to connect their YouTube account, TeemUp accesses information via YouTube API Services to populate and verify the Creator's profile:

• YouTube Channel ID, Channel title, and Channel URL
• Public subscriber count, total video count, and public view metrics
• Recent public video metadata (titles, publish dates, thumbnail URLs)
• Creator niche/category and bio description provided by the Creator

C. Brand & Agency Information

When a Brand or Agency registers or posts a campaign brief, we collect:

• Organization or Brand name
• Contact person name and designated email
• Company website URL
• Campaign briefs, target deliverables, requirements, and budgets entered directly by the Brand

D. Communications & User Content

We store messages, proposals, notes, and collaboration briefs exchanged between users within the TeemUp workspace to enable direct communication and track partnership progress.

E. Waitlist Submissions

If you register for early access or waitlist notifications, we collect your name, email address, selected role (Brand, Creator, or Agency), and submission timestamp.

5. Information We Do NOT Collect

To ensure absolute transparency and user safety:

• No Financial / Payment Data: TeemUp does not handle money, process transactions, or store payment card numbers, bank account numbers, UPI IDs, or banking passwords. All financial deals between creators and brands are executed independently outside of TeemUp.
• No Sensitive Google Account Data: We do not access or read your private emails (Gmail), Google Drive documents, personal contacts, Google search history, or Google account passwords.
• No Unrelated Device Data: We do not access your device microphone, camera, location coordinates, or local file storage without explicit user action.
• No Data Brokering: We do not purchase user data from third-party data brokers or sell user data to advertisers.

6. Google Sign-In & Authentication

TeemUp uses Google OAuth 2.0 (via Firebase Authentication) to verify user identity securely. We never receive or store your Google password. Your authentication tokens are managed securely to maintain your login session.

7. YouTube API Services Disclosure

TeemUp utilizes YouTube API Services to allow Creators to verify channel ownership and display authentic channel metrics to prospective brand partners. By using TeemUp's YouTube integration, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• YouTube Terms & Google Privacy: TeemUp's integration adheres to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Purpose of Access: YouTube API data is accessed strictly to verify Creator profiles, display channel statistics (subscribers, view counts, recent public videos), and assist Brands in discovering suitable collaborators.
• Data Storage & Freshness: We store retrieved channel metrics in our secure database to display Creator profiles efficiently. Data is periodically refreshed to ensure accuracy.
• No Data Selling or Advertising Use: YouTube API data is never sold, leased, or transferred to third-party data brokers, ad networks, or external analytics firms.
• Revoking Access: Creators can revoke TeemUp's access to their YouTube data at any time via the Google Security Settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• YouTube Data Deletion Requests: When you disconnect your YouTube account or submit a deletion request to , all stored YouTube API data associated with your profile will be permanently deleted from our active databases.

8. Automatic Technical Information & Log Data

When you browse or interact with TeemUp, our servers automatically record standard technical log data, including:

• Browser type and version
• Operating system and device category
• IP address (used for session security and geographic zone routing)
• Pages visited, timestamps, and error diagnostic logs

9. Cookies & Local Storage

TeemUp uses strictly necessary first-party cookies and browser local storage required for platform operation, such as preserving user login sessions, security tokens, and UI display preferences. We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking scripts.

10. Public Profile Information

When a Creator or Brand completes their profile, certain details are designed to be viewable by other registered TeemUp users to foster collaboration:

• Creators: Display name, profile picture, YouTube channel statistics, portfolio links, and bio.
• Brands / Agencies: Company name, logo, public campaign briefs, and website URL.

Private messages and internal campaign discussions are accessible only to the participants involved in that specific workspace.

11. AI-Assisted Matchmaking & Recommendations

TeemUp may utilize algorithmic matching to recommend relevant Creators to Brands based on public niche categories, audience scale, and campaign requirements. We do not use private user messages or personal sensitive data to train public foundation models.

12. How We Use Information

We process collected information solely for specified, lawful purposes:

• To create, verify, and administer your user account
• To display Creator metrics and facilitate brand-creator discovery
• To provide messaging, proposal exchange, and workspace management tools
• To maintain platform security, investigate misuse, and prevent fraud
• To send essential transactional notifications, product updates, and waitlist announcements
• To comply with applicable legal, statutory, and regulatory obligations under Indian law

13. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your Personal Data. We share information only in limited, legitimate circumstances:

• Between Collaboration Partners: Information that you include in your profile, proposals, or messages is shared with the specific users you choose to interact with on TeemUp.
• Trusted Service Providers (Data Processors): We rely on reputable infrastructure and cloud providers who process data strictly under our instruction:
  • Google Cloud & Firebase: Authentication, encrypted database hosting (Cloud Firestore), and server infrastructure.
• Legal & Regulatory Compliance: We may disclose data if required to do so by a valid court order, government authority, or applicable law under the Information Technology Act or Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
• Business Reorganization: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring, user information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

14. Data Retention

We retain your Personal Data only for as long as your TeemUp account remains active or as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. When an account is closed or a deletion request is completed, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized, except where temporary retention is required by applicable statutory record-keeping laws.

15. Account Deletion & Data Erasure

You have full control over your account and personal data. You may request the permanent deletion of your TeemUp account and associated profile information at any time by sending an email to .

Upon receiving your verified request, we will delete your account credentials, profile data, portfolio links, and stored workspace records from our active systems within 30 days.

16. Technical Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure, including:

• HTTPS / TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted cloud storage provided by Firebase / Google Cloud Platform
• Strict database security rules restricting access to authorized users only
• Principle of least-privilege administrative access controls

Please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% infallible. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security against all unforeseen threats.

17. Data Incident & Breach Response

In the unlikely event of a security incident resulting in unauthorized access to or compromise of personal data, TeemUp will investigate promptly, take remediation measures, and notify affected users and regulatory authorities (including CERT-In and relevant authorities under Indian law) as required by applicable regulations.

20. International Data Transfers

TeemUp uses cloud infrastructure services provided by Google Cloud and Firebase. While our primary operations are situated in India, your data may be processed on secure cloud servers located within Google's globally distributed data centers in compliance with applicable cross-border data transfer regulations.

21. Third-Party Links & Integrations

Our platform may contain links to external websites, social channels, or services operated by third parties. Clicking on these links will redirect you outside of TeemUp. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of third-party platforms, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
